Portland Course at Royal Troon

Originally Designed by Troon Professional Willie Fernie, the Open Champion in 1883, the Portland course was opened in 1895 and subsequently redesigned by Dr Alister MacKenzie in the early 1920’s. With a generous helping of Par 3’s and 5’s which meander through terrain filled with gorse and broom it’s a fantastic round of golf for all abilities.
