Dumbarnie Links

Other than Pebble Beach, there are few world-class courses able to offer such an expanse of beach and water frontage as that we have been blessed with at Dumbarnie Links. Of the 34,000 golf courses currently in play around the world, only 246 of them are authentic links courses. Of these, only around 40 are internationally recognized 5 Star links, and yet over thirty of these appear in The World’s Top 100 Golf Courses.

Dumbarnie Golf Links

The most famous is the Old Course at St Andrews on the shores of Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. Premier links are very rare and have great cachè value.

Kingsbarns

Passion to host you for a memorable round of traditional Scottish links golf. Kingsbarns Golf Links is situated 7 miles from St Andrews along 1.8 miles of picturesque North Sea coastline, where each hole embraces the sea. In addition to enjoying our Worldwide Top 100 ranked course, we hope lifelong memories of our comfortable, friendly and attentive service complete your “Kingsbarns Experience”.

Kingsbarns co-hosts the annual European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (30 September – 3 October 2021) together with the Old Course at St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links. In 2017 Kingsbarns hosted The Ricoh Women’s British Open.

Crail Golf Society (Balcomie Links)

Centuries of golf has been played over these beautiful old links; long before the days of formal rules, mechanised mowers and metal cups. Much of the course as it is enjoyed today was laid out in 1895 by the master himself, Old Tom Morris. Balcomie is one of Scotland’s golfing gems, it’s a must-play course for members and visitors alike.

The joy of playing this old links are the unique features and layout of each hole. From the opening drive to the final putt, the course will never be played the same way twice. Natural hollows, stone walls, shared greens and bunker faces clad in old railway sleepers make the Balcomie Links a special place to play golf.

St Andrews Links – New Course

The oldest ‘new’ course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was built by the Keeper of the Green, Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbour.

Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of links golf.

Elie Golf Club

Elie is one of the finest links courses in Fife and for visitors, touring golfers and members alike it offers a warm welcome and an honest test of golf played over classic links terrain.

It is one of the oldest golf clubs in the country and lies just 12 miles from the championship courses at St Andrews, the Home of Golf. The game has been played across the historic Elie links since the 15th Century and given the panoramic views and superb setting it is little wonder the course has established itself as such a firm favourite for visitors over the years.

Tucked away in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife – Neuk is the Scots word for corner – Elie is less than an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and only 20 minutes from St Andrews. The course is open all year round, offering up its charms to visitors whether they come in the height of summer or the depth of winter.

Scotscraig Golf Club

Scotscraig Golf Club has hosted the Final Qualifying for The Open Championship on many occasions and we are very proud to play for the oldest medal in golf for over 200 years.
We are ideally situated in the heartland of golf in North East Fife with both the “Old Course” in St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links just a short drive away.
