Overview

Kilspindie Golf Course, established in 1898, is located in Aberlady, Scotland. Designed by Willie Park Jr. and Ben Sayers, this traditional Scottish Links course offers a unique golfing experience.

The course measures 5,494 yards from the white tees and 5,108 yards from the navy blue tees, with a par of 69. It features a variety of holes that challenge golfers of all levels. The first hole is a par 3, followed by the second hole, the only par 5 on the course. Playing these traditional Scottish links, you may witness sea-birds diving for food, migratory geese, and seals sunning on the sand. In the distance, you can see the profile of Edinburgh, its Castle, and the long-extinct volcanic cone of Arthur’s Seat.

Kilspindie Golf Course is known for its warm and friendly atmosphere. The club welcomes visitors from around the world. Additional services include club hire, caddies, buggies, and trolley rentals.

The clubhouse offers facilities such as a putting green, a practice chipping area and a professional shop. Visitors are welcome in the restaurant and bar/lounge. Men’s and women’s changing facilities are also available.

For those interested in history, the course features two stone structures: the ‘Target’ at the 5th tee and the ‘Magazine’ at the 12th tee. These were used in the early days when the course was shared with a local rifle club.
