Travelling to Portugal:

From most of the airports in the UK, you can fly direct to the three airports in Portugal. Algarve : Faro Airport. Lisbon : Lisbon Airport. Madeira : Funchal Airport. The flight time is, on average: Algarve – 3 Hours, 15 minutes. Lisbon – 2 Hours, 45 minutes. Madeira – 4 Hours. Transfers are available in and around Portugal; however, we can arrange transfers for you if needed. It’s worth noting that flight times may vary depending on factors such as weather conditions, airline schedules, and airport traffic.

Portugal - Weather Guide:

Portugal has a warm, Mediterranean climate, making it great for golf all year. Summers (June to August) can get very hot, especially in the Algarve and southern areas, with temperatures over 30°C. To stay cool, it’s best to play early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Winters (December to February) in Portugal are mild, especially in the south, with temperatures between 10°C and 15°C. Golf is still popular during this time, as the weather stays pleasant and courses are less crowded. Some rain is expected, but it rarely affects play. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best times to play golf in Portugal. During these months, temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C, the days are long, and the weather is dry and comfortable for golfing. In summer, the sun rises at about 6:30 AM and sets around 9:00 PM. In winter, the days are shorter, with sunrise around 7:30 AM and sunset by 5:30 PM. For the best golfing experience, visit Portugal between March and May or September and November. The weather is warm and perfect for long, enjoyable rounds on the course.
