Course Layout and Challenges
Saint Malo Golf Course has two courses for you to enjoy.
First, there’s the 18-hole Surcouf Course, which is a Par 72 and stretches for 6,101 meters. This course is beautiful and offers a fun challenge. It wraps around the lovely Mirloup Lake and features rolling fairways, water hazards, and interesting granite formations. Players of all skill levels will find it exciting, especially when they face tricky holes like 6 and 16, where they need to hit their shots over 80-100 meters of water!
They also have the 9-hole Old Course, which is great for beginners. It’s a Par 35 and is 2,646 meters long. This course is shorter but still fun. You’ll play among century-old oak trees and enjoy beautiful views. The Old Course is perfect for those just starting, but it still offers a friendly competition for everyone.
Signature Holes
The Surcouf Course is known for its great holes, especially the 6th and 16th. Both are par-3 holes that require players to hit their balls over Mirloup Lake. The 16th hole even has a beautiful bridge, making it both a stunning sight and a fun challenge. With excellent greenkeeping throughout the course, every round of golf here is truly special.
