Streamsong Blue Course

Overview

At Streamsong Resort in central Florida, the Streamsong Blue Course was designed by Tom Doak and opened in 2013. This 18-hole, par-72 course stretches up to 7,276 yards and offers golfers beautiful scenery and challenging play.

The course moves through sandy dunes, wild grasses, deep-water ponds, and changing elevations, making it feel natural and memorable. With contours rising up to 75 feet, Streamsong Blue offers stunning views and a layout that flows smoothly into the nearby Red Course, adding variety to every hole.

Challenging Terrain at the Streamsong Blue

Golfers wanting a challenge at Streamsong Blue Golf Course will find many ways to test their skills. The layout gives most players plenty of space while still rewarding careful, accurate shots. Bunkers, hard greens with slopes, water hazards, and sandy areas make the course interesting and sometimes tough.

Players need to judge distances accurately due to hills and uneven ground. If a shot is off target, it can be hard to recover, but the course also gives chances to bounce back. This mix of challenge and forgiveness makes Streamsong Blue fun and fair for everyone.

Signature Holes at the Streamsong Blue Course

Among the best signature holes at Streamsong Blue, the par-3 7th stands out at 203 yards long. It’s green sits between a front lake and sand dunes, sloping hard right to left for exciting tee shots.

The first hole, a 338-yard par-4, begins atop a 50-foot dune. It demands an accurate drive onto a wide fairway guarded by bunkers, setting the stage for the game.

Another highlight is the par-3 16th, which is 237 yards. It features reverse Redan traits with right bunkers and a left-to-right slope that rewards running approaches.

The last hole, the 18th, is a 478-yard par-4 that goes uphill toward the clubhouse and has a green that slopes sharply left to right, making your last shot a real test.
