La Envia Golf Course is in a beautiful desert valley close to Almería, Spain. This 18-hole, par-70 course offers a special golfing experience. Course Layout
Designed by Francisco Mendoza, La Envia Golf Course stretches over 6,000 yards and winds through a natural basin protected from the coastal winds. The course layout uses the natural contours of the terrain, with fairways lined by mature palm trees, agaves, and native shrubs. This gives players a scenic setting as well as a rewarding test of skill.
The first nine holes of the course are easier to play, making them great for beginners or those with higher handicaps. However, the last nine holes are more challenging. They have narrower fairways and higher greens, which makes each shot more important. With tricky bunkers and small slopes, players need to think carefully about their club choice and where to aim their shots.
Signature Holes
Hole 6 is an exciting par 3. It has a tee that is a little higher than the green, which is surrounded by water. To do well here, you need to be very accurate with your shots. Another great hole is the par-5 13th. This hole has a narrow dogleg and a sloping fairway, which means you need to plan your shots carefully and think strategically to succeed.
