Fuerteventura Golf Club

Fuerteventura Golf Club is the first-built 18-hole golf course in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Designed by Juan Catarineu, it opened in 2000 and has hosted events like the 2004 Spanish Open. Holes 1 to 10 offer ocean views, and the back nine is more challenging. Three interconnected lakes and a stream introduce water hazards across multiple holes, along with 67 shallow bunkers.

A few holes really stand out on this course. Hole 2 is a par 5, tough hole with a narrow fairway. There is water on the left and out of bounds on the right.

Hole 7 is a scenic par 3 that requires a shot over water, making it both pretty and hard. Hole 17 is a par 5 that goes uphill to the green. The 18th hole turns and goes downhill toward the clubhouse.
