Explore the multi-award-winning Old Course at Trump International Golf Links, Scotland. This stunning championship links goes through the iconic Great Dunes of Scotland, set along one of the most spectacular coastal settings in golf.

Old Course Layout

The classic layout features two out-and-back loops of nine holes. All 18 holes thread through dunes, valleys, and coastal landscapes.

Some holes rise, offering scenic coastline views before plunging into sheltered valleys that offer a mix of open and enclosed spaces.

Challenges on the Old Course

Challenges stem from the topography, coastal winds, turf, and hazards. Fairways sometimes become narrow where most shots land, while cross bunkers and deep sandy hollows require precise shot selection and thoughtful course management.

Signature Elements

Signature elements include the bold opening par-5. This starts with a wide fairway that narrows before three cross bunkers protect the lay-up zone. The next shot is a difficult approach into the wind toward a green set against large fescue-covered dunes.

Throughout the round, golfers encounter dune framing, infinity-style green settings, and constantly changing perspectives of the North Sea, all of which define the true links experience.
