Overview
The Ian Woosnam Course at Dale Hill Golf Club in East Sussex is a premier destination for golf in England. Designed by former Masters Champion and Ryder Cup Captain Ian Woosnam, this par-71 course spans nearly 200 acres of picturesque Sussex countryside.
Course Design and Features
Opened in 1997, the course was constructed to USGA specifications, ensuring excellent year-round playing conditions. The layout begins with a challenging 602-yard par-5, setting the tone for a demanding yet rewarding round. As players progress to the 5th hole, the course opens up, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
The course demands accuracy off the tee due to strategically placed long roughs. Additionally, the quick, undulating greens require a steady nerve, testing both precision and patience.
