Gran Canaria’s warm climate makes it perfect for golf all year. In summer, in July and August, temperatures reach 27-30°C. Many golfers prefer playing in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
The coldest months in Gran Canaria are from December to February, with temperatures between 15-22°C. Even in winter, the weather stays mild and perfect for golf.
The best time to play golf in Gran Canaria is in spring (March- May) and autumn (September- November). During these months, the weather is warm, between 20-26°C. These seasons offer perfect golfing conditions and fewer tourists.
In summer, the sun rises around 7 AM and sets around 9 PM. In contrast, during winter, sunrise is at 7:30 AM, and sunset is around 6:30 PM. Meanwhile, spring and autumn provide balanced daylight hours, with sunrise at 7:15 AM and sunset near 8 PM.
